IATC is very pleased to announce Angela Dodson, a member of the Trenton, NJ Torch club, will be the new editor of The Torch magazine. Taking over the reins for the Fall 2021 edition, she brings a lifetime of editorial and writing experience to her role with us. |
Angela, former New York Times editor, is also the author of the highly regarded book, Remember the Ladies: Celebrating Those Who Fought for Freedom at the Ballot Box. She has coached and edited a wide spectrum of authors – from Pulitzer-prize winners to mentoring new authors working toward their first published work. Her resume listed editorial roles from copy to senior executive in a number of prestigious daily newspapers as well as editorial and writing roles for book reviews and periodicals, website editor, blogger, and a host of an award-winning syndicated radio interview program for 16 years.
Her experience, her approach, and her warm humor all won over the magazine committee which gave her an unanimous recommendation for her new role. Please welcome Angela Dodson! Thank you to the wonderful committee who lead the effort to find Angela!
