Exciting and Flexible Leadership Opportunities for Innovation
The 2021 election process for members of the leadership of the International Association of Torch Clubs (IATC) has started! Every Torch member interested in being considered for a position on the IATC Board of Directors is invited to submit an application for himself/herself, or a nomination of another Torch member, addressed to the IATC Nominations Committee at the address shown below. In this election, the IATC leadership positions to be filled are Region Directors. The only qualification requirements are to have been a Torch member for at least five years and have held a Torch Club office for at least one year. Regional Director positions have two years terms. The main function of a Region Director is to maintain a relationship of Torch Clubs and the IATC – there is much flexibility in doing so, and in territory to cover. OPEN POSITIONS: REGION 7 DIRECTOR – Nebraska & Iowa REGION 9 DIRECTOR – Texas RE-ELECTION: REGION 3 DIRECTOR - LYNN BERNARD – Northern Virginia & Maryland REGION 5 DIRECTOR - ELIZABETH SHORT – Ohio REGION 6 DIRECTOR - DWIGHT WILLIAMS – Michigan & Wisconsin We greatly encourage and welcome new leaders to offer their talents for enhancing the leadership of the IATC in using opportunities for adapting to current interests and conditions, and in fostering and promoting the benefits of Torch.
